Growing as fast as beans on a tree

Finally one of us has paused for breath to write a blog article again after a month hiatus by the looks of it.  Luckily Simon has redone the design a bit (ahhh!).   So what's new in Kopi land?

  • We've had some phenomenal growth in subscribers these past few months and a big thank you to everyone as a lot are referrals from existing members - we can't do this without you!
  • To cope with this, we've scaled up the boxing and packing side of the operation so now there are nearly 10 dedicated Kopi-ettes who pack the sought after Kopi box each month and in record time too.  Our job now is make sure the coffee arrives on time from our roaster!
  • We're very pleased to have an amazingly experienced marketeer join us as VP Marketing (Gordon Ellis-Brown) who used to be the senior VP for 20th Century Fox and Carephone Warehouse.  He's amazingly talented and coming up with all manner of new initiatives for us.
  • Mostly we've had our head down in preparing for a new funding round to do a big marketing push for the rest of this year..  This takes time but we have a good amount of funds committed now and eager to get it put to good use!

 What's coming up:

  •  A re-designed site with a lot more content and depth - including our new Kopi Academy (guides and advice)
  • Ability to call us or chat to us live online
  • International delivery and payment options
  • A brand new way of gifting which should make things even easier...

All in all - we live in exciting times eh.

Congrats on the progress guys. It is great to see fellow coffee-nuts pushing the fresh-is-best angle to the world. Fingers crossed the UK take it all onboard and embrace the concept - it does appear that is the case!

Looking forward to seeing your new site in the coming weeks.

Matt, Tim, and the rest of the Bean & Ground Coffee Club Team.
