The Weekender Bag - announcing the pilot trial

Straight into kicking off the New Year, we've listened to your feedback and today we're launching the trial of a brand new bag and subscription package called "The Weekender".

Some of you told us that you only get a chance to drink great coffee at home at the weekends or that you're a supreme coffee drinker who likes to try lots of different ones all the time, so we've come up with, what we hope is, a bag that satisfies both those needs.

It's still the same great gourmet coffee each month that you know and love with the gorgeous tasting and information booklet, but now in a handy 100g size bag (that's 8-10 cups or mugs a month) and in an even smaller outer box (100% goes through everyone's letterbox - ok maybe 99.99%).  The classic bag we do is 250g (20-25 cups or mugs) a month for comparison.

So to recap:

• 100g bag of the Kopi gourmet coffee of the month; great for weekend drinkers
• Gorgeous in-depth tasting and provenance notes on the coffee
• A smaller, slimmer box to go through even more letterboxes.

We're Here!

We've finally arrived and come out of hiding and months of planning and we're pretty excited.  In as few words as possible.  Our aim is to make gourmet coffee more accessible to the everyday person, in a convenient and fun way. Too long we've put up with standard coffee from the supermarkets and only danced around the more premium versions, which don't have to cost the earth or be exclusive.

Kopi.co.uk offers a gourmet coffee subscription every month, delivered through your door.

Let me explain...   "gourmet" refers to high quality beans with an amazing aroma and distinct unique tastes and flavours, sourced from Single Estates around the world (a distinct crop from one distinct place).  "subscription" is a flexible way to receive that month's coffee on a regular basis, while "delivered through your door" is about us making it as convienient as possible for you to receive each box of coffee right through the letterbox and not have to sign for it.

We've created this blog to enable us to talk about life behind the scenes of the business and what it's like to create something like this from scratch; our ups and downs; questions and challenges; features and announcements.
