What are Kopi Top-Up Bags?

We often get asked the question "If I want more of that month's coffee - can I buy some?" and it's a very good question.

Every month we buy the coffee a few weeks in advance (hence why you're billed a couple of weeks before you receive it) and sometimes over-order.  Mainly this is so we have a few spare bags for promotional activity or to offer as extras for people who want to buy more.   It's also a factor of the size of the sacks the green coffee beans come in (60kg sacks usually).

So depending on how many subscribers we have in a given month, the promotional activity we're doing and how much coffee we've bought and roasted - we do end up having a small % each month available to our subscribers and we call these "Top-Up Bags".  We price them on the lowest tier (£7 for 250g) as they are a 2nd or 3rd purchase on top of the normal subscription bag.  For the 100g Weekenders, we price top-up's at £4.

So right now we have the following top-up bag quantities available:

  • 10 Pre-Ground bags: December - Mexico Terruni Nayarita Reserva - www.kopi.co.uk/dec2011
  • 15 Whole Bean bags: January - Malawi Geisha AB Msese District - www.kopi.co.uk/jan2012
  • 1 Whole Bean bag: February - Papua New Guinea Sigri Plantation A - www.kopi.co.uk/feb2012

When they're gone - they're gone!

It's worth noting that we don't hold stock like a normal e-commerce business; that's not what Kopi is about.  Basically if you really like one of the month's coffees - buy a big bulk order as soon as you can :-)

Urm, there's no sign of how to place the order from this page? I've run out of Geisha. :)

P.S. You could really do with remastering your social media icons with transparency, to match your otherwise polished branding =>
